Didn’t go down his way but Lewis handled it pretty well and in a classy way in interviews… Second time in his career he loses on the last race but this time feels even worse… kinda like a soccer game you dominate and at the 90 min a penalty is awarded and you lose the World Cup.
Let see next year if he keeps his level & what the level of his car will be as well as Russell’s.

Maybe there could also be one on Max’s this year, he deserves it for sure but not like that.

Button in the same car. Rosberg in the same car. And now Max in an inferior car.

The shine is fully rubbed off of Sir Lewis, and it is obvious now more than ever that his success can only be 100% credited to his team and the car they provided him. More people would like him if he didn't spend a career incessantly whining on the radio about the team and the car, man.

    Hamilton to this date :
-beat 2 season to one button in the same car, beat -Alonso as a rookie based on ties dictated by the fia,
    -2-1 versus rosberg,
-is one of a youngest world champion ever,
-is one of the few (94 Schumacher ,08 Hamilton, 21 Verstappen ) to be WDC on the non WDC car

Last I checked : Senna got beat in the same car, so did piquet, Schumacher, Prost and so forth.

Maybe if people didn’t confuse his views and stances with F1 they could know how to analyze facts together properly.

Agreed- not my favorite and his records don’t mean much to me as he started in a top team and there are many races nowadays but still a guy that won at every level

    Leaving this here....

Verstappen said: "Toto sent me a text - congratulations on the season and that I deserved to win, that was very nice." The Red Bull driver added: "Lewis is a great sportsman in general."

Verstappen was talking in his first news conference since becoming champion, and he admitted he was suffering a little after partying through the night in celebration with the Red Bull team.

He said he understood how much Hamilton would have been hurting.

The Briton led for the vast majority of the race and was on course for the title, only to lose it on the final lap.

"Of course it helps if you have already seven titles," Verstappen said. "That comforts him a bit.

"I think if it was the other way around, it would have been more painful for me because I didn't have one.

"Lewis came up to me and congratulated me. It must have been very tough in that last lap. It also shows the respect we have for each other.

"Of course we had our tough times through the season but we respect what we're doing and we were pushing each other to the limit and it has been very enjoyable racing against him."

It sounds like at least one person in The Orange Army has higher regard for Lewis....credit to both Lewis and Toto for not diminishing Max's moment and congratulating him on his maiden title.

It's about Masi and nobody else.

I'd still rather he go to NASCAR for a TRUE well rounded social justice woke oriented career.

Dude... Hamilton was as fast as Alonzo in his rookie year in 07 and would have won if he wasn't sabotaged. I don't like his politics but the dude can drive.

    Yes… tomorrow is yesterday’s news.
One day max will be in Hamilton’s shoes :I.e close to retiring and people will forget how fast he was.
Hamilton beat everyone since his go karting days. The man might annoy but his results are here.

Max absolutely deserves his championship, just not like that.
His talent is obvious, just like it for Schumacher in 94, or Hamilton in 07. All 3 of them were/are polarizing but you have to be stupid to denigrate their talents :

True but everything must be pondered also.
Max won his first Grand Prix at 18 years old.
This is insane when you are thinking about..

Ehhhhh...Alonzo was sabotaged in 2007, not the other way around.

And Hamilton generous in defeat? I have a strong impression that his dad had to talk him over to congratulate Max.
