Reminds me of Schumacher 2005, was'nt able to win a legit race in a capable car.

only as a reference for Preaching !

Vettel, Button, Rosberg, Russell, all as equally talented as Ham.

    +1

Didn't Mercedes also make a pitstop "mistake" on Russell's maiden Mercedes race at Sakhir '20 ?

Nothing to do with trying to protect Ham's rep ofcourse ;)

Strange then that none of them has been as successful so far.
We will see what Russell can deliver in years to come.

Why forget it, need to accept that it happened. He is not the high and mighty driver that you and his fans think of him. FYI he had so many wins because there are more races now. If you look at percentage of wins in a season MS and now I think Verstappen have the most.

I accept everything this season. I also don't judge a driver by one season. Its too late for you haters, Hamilton's records speakes for itself. All other drivers are playing catch up.

Lol! You don’t judge drivers on one season? FYI Schumacher did win in 2005, also had a pole position. The car was mediocre in 2005, if you really look at MS Schumacher he won every season up until he retired. His rookie season he raced only 5 times with back marker team. Let’s see if Hamilton wins again before he retires.

Reminds of Lewis not being able to win this year when his team mate did which was legit. Plus could not even get a pole position. His team mate did, especially when Lewis is known to be an amazing qualifier.

Why always bring up Hamilton critics as "haters"? For the record: I do NOT hate Hamilton.

With regard to his success as a driver, I just think that he is the luckiest driver in F1 history to achieve that many wins and poles (with many thanks to a dominant car and team). There is nothing wrong with being lucky, just don't let the success get the better of you.

Regarding his personality, I can only judge from the public info available, I never met him and have no intention to change that. However, his public whining, always blaming others and trying to preach his standards to the world did not endear him in my book.

That wasn't a legit win in 2005. The top teams didn't participate in that race. If you want to pat Schumi on the back for that go ahead.

Fair enough. But his team mates were "lucky" to be with the team too. All champions has some kind of luck. Its what you do with the luck that matters.

Ham benefitted from an unprecedented period of car reliability & performance at Mercedes. So much so that Rosberg finally got Ham's engineers for 2016, much to the annoyance of Ham.

Ham certainly looked impressive against team mate Bottas :D

Because the moment you say anything against saint Hamilton, you're a hater.

I'm certainly no fan of his, reasons outlayed a million times...I'd certainly find him a lot less irritating if his fanbase wasn't full of mindblowingly boring but impressively persistent people. The constant desperate cries for acknowledging him as the GOAT (if you don't recognize, you're a hater!), incapability of understanding a counter argument (which at this point can't be by accident), their need to sign up up forums that have zero to do with Hamilton then get upset when people don't buy into every word they say...There is something seriously wrong with them. And I genuinely feel sorry for his normal fans, he has them here, but they can't speak up.

Which other driver has a fanbase that signs up here purely to antagonize, that shows no interest in Ferrari at all? That suddenly don't show up because their car is rubbish, only to return when the car showed signs of doing well again? That alone is a big enough red flag to earn a quick and easy perma ban for trolling, but whatever.

Hamilton has been beaten, on merit, 3x in his prime. The goat claim is long gone.

Well you have been on here for quite some time boasting about how Hamilton is GOAT. Now since he sucked this season you are now saying there is no such thing as a GOAT.
