Basic English? Maybe the accuracy of the word? You can go back and quote me in saying Red Bull had a dominant car after Spa 2022. You can quote me in saying Red Bull has a dominant car in 2023.
True France are republicans Those who place the laws of the republic above religious laws. But I will not further develop this subject P and R
All true, as Ali became more militant Initially as Clay in the UK he wasn't liked as he beat our Henry Cooper due to his corner bending the rules to get a longer count to secure his victory. The UK later embraced Ali as a true icon who transcended his sport.
You might have a setting wrong, I never see quoted posts of the people I have set to ignore? But I also don't read all the threads on Fchat so I maybe I just got lucky.
The quoted post is hidden, but to follow context (i.e. nonsensical drivel) I sometimes click it and you go down the rabbit hole.
Just trying to keep you boys on the straight and narrow...also known as facts rather than whatever you make up PS. For all you "data point" obsessives, you should become NASCAR fans. The entire scoring system (which few understand) is "data points". Points for who led the most laps, points for leading at the halfway point, points for not wrecking a guy you just passed on a short track (that one's not true actually ), etc...
I mean at the end of the day, the most vocal criticism I see on Ham has been his politics. (let's not go there) Let's stick to his performance. This year, I think it's fair to say he's been driving better then Leclerc/Sainz/Russell. Which leaves Max, Alo, Checo. I don't think Alonso and Sergio are better drivers, I'm sorry. I think a case can be made that Max is. Still leaves Ham near the very top.
Occam's Razor comes to mind. I think it's because they have the best car and the best driver this year. Pretty much as simple as that.
Problem is, the two are hard to separate. His driving style often reflects his politics and social media persona .... one word constantly comes to mind: ENTITLED. Agreed. Disagree. Max is clearly better than Hamilton has ever been, and Alonso is a better driver as well. We've seen, over the course of his career, Alonso continually wrestle stellar performance from sub-standard cars ... for me, this is a better indicator of talent than simple stats may indicate. We haven't seen the same from Hamilton.
It's worth saying that all of the younger drivers openly commend what he did top open doors for them and improve quality of life for drivers overall. Watch the Sky video where they went to Milan with Gasly, he clearly idolises Lewis and respects what he's done a great deal. I don't have a horse in this race - I like Max, I like Lewis, I like people who race well and both do.
Out of curiosity, when do you think Hamilton was better than Max of 2023? You can believe whatever you want of course, I am just wondering if there is a basis to the belief.
Exactly as Coulthard specified ---- Marketing aspects main hold up in Hamilton deal, say Mercedes Mercedes says that the delay in sorting out Lewis Hamilton’s new Formula 1 contract was mostly triggered by side issues like marketing commitments.
Im asking if you think 2023 Max is the best Max, but you think that still isn't as good as the best ever Lewis... when was the best ever Lewis that is better than the best ever Max and what do you base this on?
The results speak for themselves, don't they ? If there is any doubt that the guy who won 12 GPs so far is better than someone who didn't win any, what's the point of a championship ?
