That set my inner alarm off. Turns out he was a bot or a scammer building postcounts. None of his posts made sense, they all seemed to refer to old events as if they were happening today. Got rid of him.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Sweet lord... Looks like hamilton is kinda back consistency wise... Max reverting to his immature ways... Hard to defend him...2nd time this season

    Congrats Lewis,
    Maximizing result as usual.
This guy is a precious asset when you are looking for a championship contender .

Ferrari's strategy with Leclerc this season has been just terrible... What were they thinking giving him the medium so early ?
I think we might have a championship on our ends by the end of the season as red bull is definitly # 2 and sometimes #3...
Max seems well on his way out at this pace

At least this thread is back on track. We were wandering in the EV weeds there for awhile.

How cool would it be to see Max go to Mercedes and then have him battle Lewis/Ferrari? :D

As it stands Ferrari is behind McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull still. Next year will be interesting to say the least!

    Would be neat...
Ferrari in season lack of development is worrying though. We shall see

Got admit though, f1 needs a max verstappen. He is fast, outspoken , talented, entertaining whether you like him or not and im glad for those reasons that he is not changing because you know with him he will do everything he has to overtake or defend his position=> bringing entertainment:)

I sense Hamilton has another win this year. Now that he is past George, I fully expect him to start qualifying better.
A better Hamilton means a more enraged Max, which equals more entertainment. I, for one, am here for it!

Exactly. Ever since 2021 I’ve wanted to see Lewis and Max battle again, preferably in every single race even if it’s for 10th place.
Max’s dive bomb today made Landos in the last race look tame, and yes Lewis appeared to take a slightly early turn-in as if to say “no way I’m letting you get away with that”. Slightly mad, yes, and shows their rivalry is as hot as ever.
    Bring on Spa!!

I wouldn't be surprised if Mercedes are the best car on a few different tracks when the temperatures are cooler. They definitely have opportunities for more wins this season.

Correct which Max has shown against Norris 2x at Austria and avoided Norris 2x from a collision.

One thing that's obvious with many F1 drivers...
When THEY do something stupid (say like a divebomb) and it doesn't work (Norris/Max), it's the other guy's fault for not giving space/place/etc (Max/Lewis).
But they are consistent in their whining...

Another thing this thread has proven is how little most posters understand racing in regards to winning/not winning. Last year, all the talk was how clean Max was, never a wheel wrong...ignoring/glossing over the fact that Max had the BEST car. Now that he doesn't have the "BEST" car, "old" Max (formally known as "Crash" Verstappen) is back and somehow people seem surprised...
Everyone's a genius when they have the BEST car.
Now that Hamilton has "found his form", all the doomsayers about him being done have to eat crow (which most won't). Reality is that M-B has gotten a LOT better. Hamilton never lost his speed, the CAR did. Recent results prove that.

Well no... Hamilton IS 39 and at that level u lose a little something, its just normal. Did he compensate by racing clean and more strategic ? he did and thats what helps him a lot imo

Hilarious lol. Best post about the last race! Glad potty mouth Max wasn’t in it. Needs to work on not being a complete idiot in public on the radio. Insults fans etc.

Literally needs to grow up. He’s not the cool new rookie. Just a guy who drives in elongated circles!!

No doubt 29 year old Lewis is faster than 39 year old Lewis. My point is that the thought, post 2021, was that Lewis was “done”, when the issue was the car.

Credit where it’s due, He did great. Clearly using his experience to playing it smart and consistent lately. Still surprised he couldn’t get past Russel on much newer tires. George did a fantastic job keeping him at bay with those tires.

105 wins, I like nice strong numbers. Makes a bigger statement than 103 or 104 wins. Lewis Played it cool with his teammate, and Karma came back to reward him.

I mean Ferrari is getting an experienced driver, a marketing machine, and quite frankly he seems revigorated. I think he has more wins in store for the rest of the year as it seems the gap between MERCEDES and MCLAREN and the rest of the field is widening. Wish they had all woken up a bit before but its what it is, Max will win his 4th but i dont think next year will be his (premature i know).
Surely the real ferrari fans should be happy to get hamilton...

It didn't happen with Alonso, Vettel, Kimi(again) and I don't think it will happen with Hamilton. It's not the drivers as history has dictated when crossing over to Ferrari.

Leclerc is getting frustrated in his head with Ferrari and the longer he stays, the more frustrated he will become and make more mistakes.

    That's my 2 cents.....
