I agree he should be who he is but I also think, like Max, you have to accept a lot of people won’t like it. The key is sucking it up and not playing the victim card.

The fact MSC got the car to the front of the pack should enhance MSC's legacy, especially given the car's starting point.

Is there a poll for whether Hammy will blow up at Ferrari? I think 2025 will be his last in F1.

    I think this is unclear::

If Ferrari put a good car on the grid, it may very well revitalize Lewis.
If Ferrari put a poor car on the grid, it may very well decimate Lewis.

I don’t think hammy has the hunger to put up with ferrari nonsense like plan Z nor does he do well in a team with a number 1 driver like Fernando and Charles or a driver who challenges like rossberg. Ferrari could even loose Alec if his battle with hammy destroys him like it almost destroyed rossberg. Rossberg gave it 110% to win but he is smart enough to know he could not sustain that and retired on top. With no winning prize the team will grenade. They will need someone with the temperament of sainz to rebuild the team.

It's all speculation at this point, but maybe Ferrari opened a can of worms by recruiting Hamilton.

I can't see this happening. Hamilton/Rosberg was nine years ago and Hamilton will be 40 up against a capable and much younger teammate. Alonso/Stroll this ain't...

F1 got pretty boring after max clinch. The hammy/Lec potential fireworks are the only thing to make 2025 race 1 a must see event.

I'm optimistic that 2025 may be one of the greatest seasons we've seen. 2024 was already pretty darn good if you ask me.

The top cars seem to have nearly capped at the full potential of this generation of car. If that's true then we could see all 4 of the top teams battle for wins and podiums each race. Then maybe the best of the mid field teams could grab some podiums, or even wins too.

I don’t want to spoil your optimism but every time I make this kind of prediction a single team has outrageously dominated the coming season .:D

Yes I agree the time for a F1 driver is short so make the best out of it what bothered me was how he did leaving Mercedes a team that made him what he is.

The reason he left MercedesAMGF1 was because the "higher ups" at MercedesAMGF1 weren't going to agree to his demands($$$$$$$$$$$$$). Ferrari was and has done so.

Kudos to Hamilton for obtening that, but it's doubtful it will benefit Ferrari greatly.

The 2024 season had 7 different drivers and 4 teams winning a GP.
A far better mix than 2023.

I agree. His track prowess isn't what it used to be HOWEVER he is still marketable. I'm sure Ferrari will make their money back and then some. We'll see what 2026 brings as that will be a reset for EVERYONE.

Poor judgement on Ferrari's part. Mercedes was happy to be rid of the problem at the end. Also poor judgement by Hamilton to put himself in a Scuderia situation. Hamilton and Ferrari is like cats and dogs. Sparks will fly the first time he whines about how the car was not set up right, or whatever else he will inevitably whine about. I think they will both look bad at the end. Hopefully I am wrong.

Ferrari have'nt won a championship or a constructors since 2008. No way to go but up from here. Fred has worked with Sir Lewis Hamilton before. He has'nt mentioned any concerns about friction.

Vasseur said it was easy to convince Hamilton to join Ferrari in 2025. He explained that Hamilton had wanted to join Ferrari for a long time and that the team had a good project to show him. Vasseur also said that Hamilton's signing sends a positive message to the paddock and will help attract good people to the team

I mean of course it was easy. Where else would he go? It was either Ferrari or retire IMO.

To be fair he had a decent season, won 2 races, could have been 3. For some reason he was poor in quali.
He brings to Ferrari decent pace, and marketing revenue.
Fred Vasseur seems to be a good people manager so i think the extra will be handled well
