Sorry, I misread the title. I thought that Hamilton lost his wigman, doesn't Angela take care of that?

Well, ham may soon be directing all those comments at his teammate. Not necessarily good news for Tifosi.

 

Russell beats Lewis in the points for 2022 in clean wheel-to-wheel racing and no DNF's between the two.

I think we're all assuming Russell will have an unrestricted chance to beat Lewis fair and square. I have my doubts. We'll see.

 

It's not like others haven't had that chance.

Russell might be the one driver who turns out to be better than Hamilton, we will wait and see.

If that does turn out to be the case and Mercedes build a top car than a mega talent like Verstappen could end up with less titles than Alonso.

 

There are already several drivers with more talent than elton, max and Charles are two of them....

 

I have never seen Merc restrict Bottas in quali. George will determine whether or not he has to yield in the race.

 

How can you say that then, Leclerc has his hands full with Sainz so it seems.

 

I bet LH will win the WDC for 2021 and then do a Rossberg and retire. This way he will retire undefeated and unchallenged. People will argue the +/- of LH being the GOAT for decades to come.

 

I don't know that he will win the WDC this year....I think Max is in the better position. We'll see.

I think he fulfills half of his contract until Russell takes over. He will be 37 or 38 next year. Time catches up always

 

I think he's making way to much money to even consider quitting. He still has what it takes to win starting with being #1 on what is the best team in recent history.

Love him or loathe him, his legacy is set. No worries in that department

Maybe it was Jensen Button who said that. Hard to remember. Strange for the supposed GOAT to keep losing to teammates, which is the one thing that should never happen over the course of a season.

 

Can't wait to see what the next few seasons bring. I think all three drivers will do even better with these lineups and up their performances a lot. I don't think there will be much internal fighting like everyone is predicting. Hopefully we see Alfa/Williams/Haas crawl back into the midfield too.

 

I have a feeling we'll see him do to Hamilton what Leclerc did to Vettel.

 

To KEEP losing to teammates over the course of a season?

 

Only time will tell.
