Obviously Ferrari sees a benifit in having Sir Lewis Hamilton drive for them. Ferrari have been hinting at wanting him for some time now. I don't have a problem with Sir Lewis Hamilton seeking a new challenge. Many past great champions do this. Some drivers don't want to drive for another team. I wouldn't be surprised if he beat Leclerc. Sainzs already beat Leclerc his first year with the team.

Not saying he will be able to bring a WDC or WCC to Ferrari...but if he did it would be one of his top accomplishments, and that's saying something.

I'm no Hamilton fan, but I still respect the numbers/career even if I don't see him as the "GOAT".

Well well well. Another prediction may be coming true. First was Mercedes wiping the floor with everyone in a totally inhumane manner once Brawn and Schumacher set up the team, and now this. I had stated AGES ago that Lewis wants to emulate Senna in that Senna wanted to end his career at Ferrari. I've repeated it a few times all to Ferrari fans denying Ferrari would or could do such a thing.

Ferrari will do and promote anyone if it means furthering their brand, even if it's with the 'wrong' crowd and means stepping on long-term great customers. Justin Beiber being granted a LaFerrari is outstanding proof of how low Ferrari goes. Lewis Hamilton driving for Ferrari will now be another example.

 

I don't see any tweets from him since Dec...I also don't think drivers are the issue at Ferrari, they're both good so it's a bit puzzling, but Ferrari would be stupid to say no to a 7x wdc, unless it meant choosing between him and Max.

 

With Schumacher trying to kill people on track , I think Ferrari has stepped up their partnership profile lately.

Carlos was easily going to beat him again except for bad luck at the end of the season including Vegas. Charles is journeyman now. Ricci has more wins lol. Charles and Ferrari are running out of time. He gets paid WDC level salary and no WDC. Absurd. He is no Senna, MS or Max.
