so let me get this straight, alonso knows how to play the strengths by blackmailing the team principal of Mclaren, orchestrating a phony win with another team principal at Renault, and calling Christian Horner begging for a ride in the Red Bull.

If you don't hear him whining, there is pretty obvious bias and you aren't listening.

Nope - that's just weasel words to excuse Alonso's active participation in the use of the stolen Ferrari information, where Hamilton did none of that and was unaware of the existence of the stolen Ferrari information. There absolutely was a significant difference in the knowledge of and use of that data between the two McLaren drivers, and Alonso is not on the good side of that difference. There's a reason why they call him Teflonso, and your portrayal of Alonso of a victim in all the scandals is frankly hilarious. You need to go read the transcripts of the FIA hearings on McLaren 2007 - apparently you haven't bothered. I did. You're wrong.

The trials as always have their scapegoats to take blame. Teams race as teams, they are all culpable. Hamilton lied to stewards on at least one occasion, but that's alright then

Alonso was promised number one status, had the team undermine him, saw a way to get back at them (he is a multi million dollar earner for them and deserves respect), and went for it after months of their BS. So what?

As a driver, he is the best out there regardless of petty jealousy. He is manipulative, brilliant, and as with all geniuses, has his own flaws. Hamiltons flaw is that he fails to control his emotions when under pressure, and wouldn't be a good move for Ferrari. That's what the thread is about, and that's what I'm talking about. Any other BS you throw in is irrelevant to me, I have my opinion of both drivers, you have yours. I could care less whether you like mine or not.

I sure hope rosberg gets champion this year, cos hambone does not deserve the first, let alone a second one

If that is your come back Sid, I'am afraid that is biggest contradiction in terms of driver personal moral values I have read on here for some time

And lest you forget, Hamilton matched Alonso the manipulative genius <(as rated by yourself) in his rookie year, just in case you forgot, and that's in the history books, end of story ;)

Anyone shocked or even surprised that these guys will do whatever necessary to improve their chances should return to the monastery they just wandered out of.

What contradiction, in every post I have mentioned that Alonso knows how to make the best of every situation? I think somewhere along the line, you need to work out whether you are trying to make a point, or just trying to create a fuss. To me, it's the latter.

Hambone had a heck of a lot of help to perform how he did in 2007, and we know he is fast, the McLaren team was biased toward him throughout. Alonso, as I said b4, railed against the bias he saw due to their undermining of him in the team.

Hambones fast but a big girls blouse..... Live with it

I didnt specify this forum in saying people dont rate him as high as he should be. Btw, youre wrong about JEV's tires being shot. In the live timing his lap times were consistent up to the lap Hamilton passed him. That lap was a half second slower, but thats down to him defending Lewis in the first sector. He ended up pitting that or the next lap anyway, so it wasnt like he was compromised on pace and couldnt keep up. The saddest part is Nico had drs and JEV did not. Lewis passed him without drs.

I´ve always found quite unbelievable that Alonso, and even the test driver of the team, did know that stuff about the stolen information but Hamilton didn´t. I guess that the only difference is that Hamilton didn´t get caught.

Hamilton has proven again and again how good he is. He has made it to the podium a number of times from dead last to near last. That is something I respect.

I don't believe anyone would deny that, Jack. Though many believe that he has been flawed in significant ways. Early this year he appeared to me to be overcoming some of those flaws. Time will tell.

Yes I would think Fred wouldn't want him along side him, it's ironic that a Ferrari driver has this to say about Hamilton then isn't it.

He did leave a few things out lol! The Hammer brings 4/10 per lap with him. This is the reason for Merc's jump in the WCC and McLaren's fall. He is in the top three of the current best drivers in F1. He already beat Alonso his rookie year in the same machinery and I don't have any doubt he would absolutely decimate Alonso in the same machinery now. His car failures not withstanding he would be leading the WDC by a country mile. He's simply faster and not by accident. He has one the best driver engineering minds ever in the sport he was train by the best at Mclaren. This is why Britney studies his data to fill in his short comings and even then he struggles just to keep up. The Hammer is superior and would bring this to Ferrari why in the heck would you not want this other than your own petty reasons?!

    Best Regards
