Indeed. Didn't know that F1 cars could enter Les Combes at 300kph. Trap speed on the kemmel straight must've been mach 1 then.
Toil stop the fan worship of a flawed human being. All of us are flawed. He is not curing cancer - move on. We dont care at all. Its just F1. Grow up. Literally.
Toil and that fat POS should probably get together. I'll get a timeout if I say anything beyond I don't understand why he's not banned for trolling? Ian
Good lord, I don't need nor want a running commentary on all of my posts. Sure maybe I exaggerated a bit when I said nico wouldnt care if hamilton died if he could shunt him off and win the title. He would care. Point is you don't know what is going to happen in any colision. just ask jules bianchi. Rosy purposefully crashed into hamilton already this season with reckless insifference to the consequences. And I would be willing to bet he would do the same again if he thought it could aid his championship prospects. And I'm not alone in the whole "cheatberg" thing; respected sky commentators also think so. I'm not forcing anyone to read my posts. Sure it gets quoted now and then but it's prefaced with the word "toil" so that should be fair warning to all you babies. Stop reading there. If you read it at your own peril don't come on here and cry about how much you dislike my posts. Freedom of expression - I can't get banned for posting my opinion. I wonder where excessive whining and harassment fall in the scale of things...
Nico did not purposely crash into lewis....he refused to back out of it. Same end result, but a very different outlook. Of course, we all expect you to look at it the way you do.
As we have been over many times...nico appreciated that collision would occur if he did not back out of the move. He turned out once and then turned back in again. He committed to a move which he knew would result in a collision. Cheatberg will be back in Abu dhabi. But I think he really does value that Mercedes contract so who knows...
Sorry Steve, I beg to differ. His continued nonsense stopped being any kind of fun long ago. I have no problem with differing opinions, particularly if well argued. But stating that a driver would be happy if a colleague was *killed* isn't in any way "fun". Again, to me it's trolling, pure & simple. I've had him on ignore for a long time, but unfortunately some folk continue to quote him. And, BTW he still has not apologized for those comments. Ian
good one....you try to deny bias, but then you call names like this. makes it easy for the rest of us to dismiss everything else you say. Thanks!
+1 I would've banned him on general principle but it's not happening just yet. His comments are getting more ridculous by the post. The whole ''but he's young, give him a chance'' is utter BS as well. I've been here since ~2008 and was still in my teens then and I'm sure there have been others (far out) who where also young...yet we all got on just about fine. Ban him for a month, see if he's changed (he won't ) and then life time ban. His presence on the forum isn't a benefit in any way, he actually drags the place down constantly.
Yeah, Toto and Merc would be ecstatic if that happened... I think the circumstances are different. The Spa crash happened because LH aggressively defended his line in the previous Hungary GP AND he didn't allow Nico to pass him. I think Nico was trying to prove that he wasn't going to pushed around by his teammate without fighting back. Bad form, but if he had any thought of winning he needed to take a stand. I don't think that he will intentionally hit Ham to win the WDC. He will race him hard if there is the opportunity though.
yep, yep and yep. I thought what Nico did was a great idea at the time. Lewis had run Nico off the track and few times before then, and Nico always jumped out of the way. I thought Spa would have turned things around because Nico was assertive, but boy, that backfired in a mental way!!
