Ross Brawn, Nico Rosberg, Fernando Alonso, Gerhard Berger, Toto Wolf, Rubens Barrichello, Jacque Villenueve and many other F1 drivers have came to the conclusion that after seeing Hamilton's full career ( including the items you mentioned above) that he is one of greatest of all time. Give me proof that you have more knowledge about F1 than the above list of people. Feel free to PM me proof if needed.

Hamilton has had the greatest success of his generation, no doubt.

I'm sure he's eternally grateful for Niki Lauda convincing him to join the mighty Mercedes

Actually, Lewis won 11 races in that period...making him tied for the 'winningest' non-Red Bull racing driver of that period (together with Alonso.)
Just a giant in waiting :D

Mercedes was no where near great when Hamilton went there in 2013. You are right, all drivers are grateful for F1 personnel bringing them on, Schumacher is eternally grateful for Brawn and Todt, Senna grateful for Dennis etc.

Yap, That's elton's story, arrive in the prime of the top teams, and when they start to fail he's rubbish and runs like a rat, Michael on the other hand left the best team to join the third team at best, it took time, but he made it a winner

Writing was always on the wall fo r mclaren at the time. Mercedes buying their own team, and investing very heavily into 2014 . Mclaren was Mercedes factory team for many years and this was about to end.

Basically Elton moved from one Mercedes factory teamthrnew the (even better funded) Mercedes factory team.. With nearly triple the employees.

Plus Button was beating him at Mclaren and he no longer was feeling like the golden boy, With his rubbish feedback, people turned to jenson and crybaby was feeling lonely, i'm pretty sure that when Niki talked to him, he said the team would back him against Nico, Elton knew Nico for a long time, he knew they were very close but with a litle help he would beat him, and that's what happened, probel was he became such a prick that Merc unleashed Nico for 2016 and Elton got his ass handed to him...

Hamilton haters please provide back up to your statements regarding Hamilton. Hamilton fans have provided back up with multiple links/articles with proof of F1 drivers/personnel declaring Hamilton a all time great. If you keep rambling on with no proof of truth, you are not contributing to this thread.

So, since you could not win in that car, are you less than a dildo ?

Something is not quite right with our friend's logic.
Button was, he said, better than Hamiton when they were together at McLaren.
But how does he explain why Lauda decided to contact Lewis instead of Jenson, when Mercedes was looking for a replacement for MS ?

It´s actually funy that jenson leaft Brawn/mercedes despite Ros best efforts to keep him onboard and decided to take Mclaren offer, then beat elton and made him run away to Merc, so in fact, despite being a second choice, everything turned out well for crapilton...had jenson had a cristal ball and he would be a 6 times world champion!

    Racing driver dildo's presumably ?
Bottas is around average, pretty weak in wheel to wheel racecraft.
Lance Stroll would probably have a decent shot at the WDC in that Mercedes.

Bottas went undefeated as team mate his first 4 years, beating Maldonaldo, and Massa. You have to 2 scenarios to choose from.
    1. Bottas was weak.
    2. Hamilton is just much better
It's funny how with past champions its always #2, but is different when it comes to Hamilton

    I doubt that.
It's OK to have the best car, but you still have to know how to use it.

We will never know unless he gets a shot

He does not carry a reputation for race craft so far. His jr career is not filled with early greatness compared to his contemporaries In my opinion. He does not take a weak car and gain more than it should provide. Perez has no issues against him lol

Bottas also has little race craft. Hence the possibility

To a point - hence why Mercedes keep offering just 12 month contract to Bottas.
    Lack complete faith in him.

He was definitely better than Bottas 1.0

Still a little better than Bottas 2.0

    Does 2020 unveil Bottas 2.1 or 3.0 ??
