    Back again new problem after all the chew with the windscreen wipers and brake lights now the hand brake warning light will not go out I think the switch must be stuck can any one please tell me where it is i would we very greatfull for some info.

    That's an easy fix. I had the same issue a few months ago. The switch that controls the e-brake light is located at the pivot point of that e-brake handle. You've got to take off the trim pieces that surround it to get to the switch. If I recall correctly, it does help to push the driver's seat all the way forward for this operation. Once you're in there there's no obvious adjustment.... believe it or not, you just need to bend the metal bracket that holds the switch to re-position the contact so that it engages/disengages correctly. It's a 10 minute job at most. Good luck!

    As they say,, You need to form the switch so the microswitch engages when on and
    dis-engages when off. Pretty simple as long as you take your time.
