For sure, auto racing is a tough one to initiate new fandom. You don't have to go to a pro venue to be so with most sports...just about everyone is exposed to their countries popular sports at school or just in their neighborhoods. From the youngest age, children participate in most common sports. 'Tain't so with auto racing.

2 more weeks for Williams to try to convince us Stroll is a good driver.

 

But of course. It'll be raceday somewhere...
Heck, on this side of the pond, we'll have IndyCar and NHRA...even NASCRAP on Saturday night....
(edit: To be fair, when I first saw this thread, I said to myself "Huh? A month?" Not so long ago there was only a three week summer break for a while; andd prior to that, the usual two weeks twixt races... )

 

Also Mclaren to convince us both cars can finish a race consecutively.

Anyway, Spa and Monza are gonna be the real 2 markers of the season. Being both high speed tracks, we tend to give the advantage to Mercedes. If Ferrari stays ahead in both races they have good chances of winning WDC. If not, it will be all Hamilton again.

Bottas and Hamilton are both fast and they are cannibalizing each other's championships. If Merc don't choose a driver Vettel will slowly walk away with it if he keeps his head on straight.

Then again, I guess no race is reason enuff...'gotta shake those lack-a-F1 DTs. )

 

As long as they cannibalize each other in front of Seb the rest of the season, they'll be fine. It's not like they're taking each other out of the races like, uhhh, someone at Red Bull.

 

I wouldn't object if Bottas took Hamilton out a couple of times......
