Just finished reading his book "Counter-Revolutionary Agent" about his exploits in Cuba in 1961. Tanner was a very interesting character. Any more stories about him? Ed?

Guys, I just came across this thread. I have a first edition of the Tanner Ferrari book. What value are dealers putting on this?
I searched the forum for Hans Tanner edition 1 and this old thread come up so rather then start a new one I thought I'd add to it to keep information together. Are the 1st and 2nd Ferrari Tanner books collectable these days. I believe their were both US and UK editions- not sure if this effects desirability.
Nice book to have in your collection, but for rarity or simply collectible & value going up, I say no. Basing this from two points of view; my own view, and our magazine's view, which focuses on all types of automotive collectibles including books.
For some reason I have both editions: British (Foulis) and American (Robert Bentley). The British edition (210 pages) is perfect except that the spine of the dust jacket is faded. The American edition (212 pages)* has a wrecked dust jacket and some age-stained pages, otherwise fully intact and no tears, etc. It’s inscribed (as near as I can tell), “To Ian. All me [sic] best & Hiram Walker Martinis. /s/Hans Tanner” *I assume the discrepancy in page count is due to different fonts and page margins.
