    you would have been 70 today. you influenced me as a child. you still make me think about what is important even in my 40's. you were half of the greatest song writing duo of our time.

    The google homepage has a tribute to him today.
    I saw Paul in concert this summer and he sang a great tribute to John. You could tell that he really regrets how things ended between them.

    i too saw paul this summer. i am still moved by the concert and the tribute to john and to george.
