    Mario Andretti turns 70 on Feb 28th.

    As a teenager, he was my hero-- first at Indy and then in F-1.

    Few drivers have had careers in so many forms of motorsports -- Open wheel, sprint cars, endurance racing, hill climbs, even Nascar.

    So, to the last American to win an F-1 race... Happy Birthday Mario -- and many more!

    Buon compleanno, Mario! Maybe you should enter a race somewhere this year in car no. 70, like your friend Paul Newman did when he turned that age!
