I have followed racing my entire life, I've raced on my own when I was a kid Formula Renault in France - and found that I dont have what it takes. I've raced Karts for fun and various cars here and there over the years. Jackie Stewart is by far the most important - best driver in the history of the sport. I have Been very fortunate to have met him a number of times, and got to know his son Mark. I mean this sincerely, I have not ever met anyone as nice, personable and accommodating, famous and wealthy than Sir Jackie Stewart. At 86 he is closer to the end, and when his time comes to go to the big paddock in the sky, we will have seen the greatest racing personality of them all. I wish more people would have an appreciation for him now, while he is still here. some pics over the years with Jackie... the last one is me and Jackie at a Road Racing Drivers Club event at Long beach last year. Not many people know but he suffered a mild stroke about 1.5 years ago, while he is still spry, and as talkative as ever, he has clearly slowed down. I just have such reverence for him. such a great guy! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
