    Today is the 39th birthday of Tom Kristensen, the Danish record holding, seven times 24 hours Le Mans winner and 4 times 12 hours Sebring winner, and probably the best sportscar driver of all time!
    This drawing which I have been working on since June is my birthday present for my good friend and big hero, Tom Kristensen.....Happy Birthday my friend! :)

    The car is the 1938 Auto Union type D which Tom drove at the DTM presentation before the start of the 2006 season!

    Welcome to Fchat.com and thanks a lot for the compliment! I really hope Tom will agree to that also! :)
    The two drawings shown below will also be presented to Tom this year, although not exactly as birthday presents!!!
    A funny side note is that the drawings for Tom all have been finished and dated on the 7th by coincidense......7 being Tom's lucky number!!! :)

    A shame that a scan or photo never will give these drawings justice.
    Those of you Fchatters that have an original will probably say that I'm right about this :)
