Dear F355 Brotherhood, This Wednesday, 1/29 is F129 day, otherwise known as F355 day, which stems from our engines being designated F129. Since 2022, our Japanese F355 brothers will be meeting up or otherwise celebrating this day and are tagging social media with #F355day. On this day (or the weekend before) just get together, go for a drive, celebrate in your garage, meet up with other F355 enthusiasts, or if you don't have a car or not around any other F355 enthusiasts, simply line up and admire your F355 model cars or do something F355 related. The whole idea is that we celebrate all over the world together and eventually make this into a global movement! I am going to be posting here on what I did and I hope to see others in the same spirit.
Unfortunately, there's salt on the roads here, leftover from snow storms last weekend and there's no rain to wash it off projected until Friday...But, I should be able to celebrate in my garage
Thats ok. I don't even drive my car in nice weather let alone this! It's really not about the car. It's about our love for the car that we all share. It's just one big brotherhood throughout the world.
Well happy F355 day! I'm kicking off my major tomorrow so good time to consider again why we go through all this . I feel like pinning the day on engine designation takes too much Davinci code level reasoning though.. shouldn't the 355th day (December 21st) be the day?
