With a headache over the weekend on the left side of my head behind my ear, I woke up this monring thinking I had a stroke, as much of my face just did not want to work!

Freaked out, I called my doctor and he saw me. I have Bells Palsy that can last 1-6 weeks and all the motor / nerve functions in my face are screwed up. While awaiting my meds, I got a coffee, which went down the side of my face as I thought my lips were in the right place! My left eye is all 'watered out' and my speech is pretty slow!

Any one ever had this? It thucks!

Sorry to hear that man. But at least it wasn't a stroke.

I woke up with the same thing I wake up with every morning.

Not a good way to wake up! A friend of mine had this happen about two weeks after he retired. It took a little while but it seems like everything went back to normal. Hopefully you'll get better soon!!

    By the way, happy birthday!

    Sorry to hear that

It hit my sister a couple of years ago but hers was moving much worse into Neuro Sacrodosis. Which affects both sides...

I hope it is minor for you, as she has now been sick for a while...

It's on both sides, but far worse on my left side. Maybe if a take a ride in Darth's 550 in the passenger seat and hold me head to the left, all of it will move over!

It's always really scary for a patient. they always think they had a stroke. fortunately, as you were told, it goes away. Except for the sexual dysfunction.

Just kidding!! HIT THE PANIC BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, hope it does not last long and happy 29th birthday!

That's it pull his feeding tube. Just kidding. This happened to a guy in my office a couple of years ago and it went away in less than a month. When he came back from the doctors we looked it up and read that it is caused by some form of Herpes Virus? Hope you get over it quick

Damn you'll do anything to get out of going to the Rampage!

Happy Birthday! Sorry to hear you're not feeling great, but glad to hear that it's a temporary condition.

Was not joking. When my friend was diagnosed with Bells Palsy we looked it up online and found that it is often brought on by a type of Herpes Virus. Did not intend to imply anything, No different than getting a cold sore from the same kind of Virus. Just Google Herpes Simplex and Bells Palsy and see for yourself

Last Friday, I was trying to adjust my neck back and forth (ya know, when you hear all the popping). I went left a bit too hard and heard a stange pop from one of my neck bones. My doctor told me that probably could have set this off.

PS: Make me laugh and I'll give you a smile kinda like this!

We're all going. Vincent is leading the pack, in either the 355 or his Dad's 550. This should be interesting. See you there.

    Pete:

Good thing it's temporary. Happyt B-day, and hope you get better soon.

I know a few people that get this.

Appears out of nowhere and it's gone in weeks.

Might come back years later, out of nowhere.

Strange thing, I don't think doctors are sure of it's cause(s).

Goodluck, hope it goes away quick!
