    Today was the 13th anniversary of Mrs. JRR and I getting married. (odd number, for sure). When I arrived home, a nice Bordeaux was already decanted. The woman knows me well: I only drink west of the Gironde, from Margaux to Medoc only. Not very well rounded, I know -- but it's what I like. This Beychevelle fit the bill nicely.

    Maybe we'll crack the Petrus on our 20th and venture across the river.
