Isn't Chelle ex-Marine Corps? I think we will have to do our share of thanking her and her wonderful efforts towards others come the Veteran's Car show in two weeks.

You and Frankie Jr set off any fireworks or have you raised him well enough to think the only exploisions he needs to hear is out of the pipes on a 308 and a possible TR?

Yes,we bought some Smoke Balls,Snakes,Sparklers...all of that Legal "Baby Stuff" (as Junior called it...:) ) I had some Firecrackers. That was about it. He's only 7...almost 8,so thats all for this year. Maybe next year I will take him to one of those Fireworks Warehouses in WI.,or IN. He will not believe it...;)

TR is on hold for awhile. Right now,I only have a 2 Car garage, and the 308 takes up 1/2.,and after I sold the Corvette, filled the other side with some giant letters from a sign. Right now,I am looking for a new Daily driver. But,I assure you,it will be something interesting, and not run of the Mill...:)

Rocketboy, yup, I was in the Marines.. but just a clarification ... I was in the Marines about 2 years and got out after an idiot drove the 65 fuelie vette I was in into a guardrail. Now I work for the Navy, Haley was actually in the Marines 6 years, currently works for the VA, does a lot of pet therapy with the Vets, and she has been the driving force behind the VA hospital show.. I'm in more of a supporting role :)

I used to do all my driving in the Army myself. Some of it was spirited and they often reprimanded me for it. Eventually they gave me a driver because of the rule that officers don't drive. Well thank you so much. That driver lasted about one hour and by then he had ignored a couple of red lights and put our VW Golf into a post. I had it with that guy, tossed him out and continued to drive myself from then on. Of course as people saw me with the bent Golf they all laughed and thought I did that to the car. Yeah right.

In hindsight I got out of it in one piece and am thankful for it. Some of my buddies had less luck. Operating military vehicles under war games conditions is risky business.
