    Greetings everyone -

I hope your 2010 is off to a better start than mine. My wifes Boxster was just rear-ended. I'm looking for a high quality shop that does insurance work in the metrowest / boston area.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here's hoping that this gets all the bad stuff out of the way for this year :)

    All the best and thanks

    Matt

Sublime Restoration. http: //www.sublimerestorations.com/ The best for Exotics. Ask for Julien. He has been the only person I have ever trusted with my inventory.

    Another recommendation:

I can't recommend anyone more highly than Mike Noonan at Mike's Autobody in Malden. He's VERY active in the PCA, and has done work for almost everyone in the region. I'd say the top Porsche bodyshop around (and voted Best of Boston in Boston Magazine). Mike is a very good friend of mine, and has, among other things, done everything from a frame-off repaint (change of color) on a 275 GTB to fixing little fender benders on Accords. He also does the bodywork for Turner Motorsports, as well as usually having a handful of DE/race cars in the shop at any given time.

    He's in Malden, at the intersection of Rt. 99 and 60. 781 324-9831. www.mikes-autobody.com

Ask to speak to Mike directly, tell him I recommended that he call you (and don't be afraid to say that you're almost as cheap as I am), and he'll take care of you.

    Vty,

If you want a great place to go, try Coach & Carriage in Natick. They did an awesome job with my Lotus Esprit...actually it was better than awesome because they went above the call of duty to get everything right. My car was particular troublesome because of the pearlescent white paint. The owner is an italian guy who has owned a couple of Ferraris and Maseratis. The foreman, Mark is an ex-Foreign Motors West (15 years) guy and does custom racing bikes and Jaguar restorations.

I would recommend Sansossio Autobody in Natick. Ask for Phil Jr. and tell him Pete from YR sent you.

My M3 was Tboned in May... he had my car for about a month and it looked PRIME after wards. My M3 serves as a full time daily driver and a part time show car. none of the judges last season could tell the car was hit. The car is Carbon Black... its a dark Navy blue with a significant amount of metalic in it... if the color isnt matched just right... its very visible.

And for what its worth, he builds a number of race cars for the BMW club racers in the Boston area... def worth a look.
