    I appreciate what you have done for me to help keep us free. Freedom, the best thing there is allows us to do things (driving great cars etc. ) people elsewhere may not even dream about.
    As a member of a group that supports Veterans; this was in my email and i wanted to share with you because i know some of you are Vets:


    McCormick and Schmick's is again this year offering a special Veteran's Complimentary Entree on November 9, 2008.


    Proper veteran's ID includes a VA card, VFW Card, American Legion card, discharge papers, DD214 or other veteran's ID

    I looked all over and couldn't find a thread talking about vets: WTH [THANKS STICKCHICK !!! ]

    anyway

    as the son of a Mustang retired Naval officer who quite HS to go to WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, the spouse of a marine retire vet [yes, we are both military brats]
    who both have a son serving in Iraq, 3rd tour

    where I also served, Nam era, I say this"

    1. to those that server
    2. to those that wanted but couldn't serve [ includes 2 of the three sons who due to physical problems can't]
    3. to those that never volunteered, or signed, but respect those that did
    4. to those that have family, friends, someone they might know in the service
    5. to those that know of no direct contact, but understand that today, their life is directly resultant of past, military events.
