Perhaps Peter K. is at it again...? Well, I guess not seeing as it's a euro patent...? Could also be removable roof piece.

I'm gonna say it's the new California replacement?

Bare in mind the current california started out as a Maserati so with the new Cali they'd want to keep to current Ferrari DNA hence FF/F12 styling.

Now what's funny about that? 4WD GTO sounds rather awesome to me!

Honestly, I could see them adding a coupe FF to the line. The model has another four or five years left in its life cycle, and from what I've heard, the regular (i.e. hatchback) FF hasn't been producing the sort of sales Ferrari would like. Adding a coupe version would be a pretty easy way to broaden the car's appeal without major engineering changes.

That said, I could also totally see it being an SP car.

Lone Wolf, Has that opinion changed at all since you got the F12? By nature I prefer RWD and stick shift too, but these cars now days are so fast and capable and also so relatively heavy that it just seems like the fast automated gear boxes and the new age AWD system Ferrari has really could be applied across a wider range without hurting the sporting experience.

Not a chance. The FF is for a completely different market than the sports and GT cars. It is for those who want to be able to take a high performance Ferrari on long trips through most any kind of weather.

This concept is neither fish nor fowl.

i own both. and the awd on the ff is truly transparent. the ff hooks up way better than the f12. just y'day in 50degree weather the f12 had wheelspin while the ff would just 'pull' me out when necessary, but you can still drift it! its an awesome car, the ff.

i dont agree that its a different market. that is old school thinking. to put 700hp down you almost need awd unless its 85 and sunny and you're on perfect pavement
i love the ff's awd system; thats why i bought it!

and believe me, i used to be very anti-awd.

New Cali. Ties in with everything I have been told by someone who has seen the car. I do know there is also a one off F12 Spider being built and maybe all the differences with the louvres etc are so as to differentiate it from the production Spider?

Definitely a California. An FF coupe would not be differentiated enough from the F12, despite the AWD.

The California is Ferrari's best selling car. With the 458, the FF and F12 all incorporating Ferrari's corporate face, only the California is left out in the cold, and some California shoppers have been complaining that that the car looks stale.

I hope this is the new California. It looks like it would hold its own on the showroom floor with the F12!
but the lines along the rear glass don't suggest that the roof can retract.....

Hopefully this car will be seen in the flesh very soon. I'm quite curious.
