    OK, it's off the crank shaft, and it looks like it's just a one-piece chunk of metal attached to the pulleys. Isn't it supposed to be a 2-part casting with rubber in the middle?

    thor,
    it's a two piece part. the elastomeric is just visible from the back side and between the last pulley groove and main body. it might be greasy obscuring your view. a good clean will reveal it.
