Harry's Garage Review of the 430 6MT

Loved that review, and yes the F430 engine is over square and loves to rev! its properties become so much more obvious when rowing your own gears. I love the light flywheel, gives it a racing engine feel, both when rev's drop so quickly between gears and how super-responsive throttle response is, enabling quick blip on way up or down to rev-match. Took my recently converted F1-to-manual F430 for a long leisurely drive accentuated by a few spirited moments, and wow, I am falling in love with it more and more everyday as I get familiar with clutch/throttle/gear change characteristics.
