How many of you guys will be attending the Concorso in Hartford this Sunday? I'm planning to take the little red monster for the day and hope to see a bunch of you all there!
A lot of FCA members will be there. There are close to 100 Ferraris pre-registered, and we're going to raise close to $100k for charity. It's gonna be pretty cool... vty, --Dennis
Cool! Glad to hear so many of the FCA/NER guys will be there. I did not think I was going to be able to make it this year due to other obligations, but was able to do so at the last minute. Got registration info in the mail yesterday! Totally psyched! See you guys there!
Dan, Glad to know a familiar guy will be there as well! This will be my first foray into Hartford for the Concorso and am looking forward to it. Are you going to wash your car for the event? LOL Hope you and Ken enjoyed the short drive the other weekend and the stop-off at Great Neck Beach in Ipswich.
Car has in fact been washed twice since the Fchat drive, and its still absolutely filthy again. Maybe that's the fact that I drove 800 miles this last weekend up to the GP and back. It was washed before & whilst in Montreal. But the bug devastastion on the way back has wrecked all that good work, so another wash it'll have to be... see you there.
Sounds good Dan... can't wait to see the car again! Have any of you guys attended the Hartford Concorso before? It looks very well organized based on the registration info sent to me. I like how all the F-cars are set up by model for judging. Makes logical sense!
All the way from Miami FL? That is great! I'm totally psyched to see your cars! Let's be sure to meet at the event.
William, I hope to see you there. I am bringing Bill Jenning's 275 GBT/4 down for him. Does anyone know if there will be parking available for trailers?
I'm in Los Angeles for two weeks and I'm going to miss the event. I just purchased a 348 and was really hoping to make it, especially because Hartford is 20 minutes from my house. Oh well, be sure to post some pictures from the event after this weekend.
I believe that trailer parking IS available. In your registration materials, you have an overhead map of the capitol and parking areas, and you'll be able to park a trailer, but get there EARLY, as there will be a lot of NICE cars being offloaded, and not much room to do it all in! vty, --Dennis
William, So you're not going to bring the 512 conv with the ostrich interior? I'd love to see that in person! Dan
I'm registered, though just for show. I plan to take Rt.44 for scenery and hope the car behaves as my wife is coming and has not driven more than a mile or two in it to this point!
Hey Sam! Glad to hear we will see you this weekend! We all missed you on the past couple of North Shore drives... I'm sure we will meet up while at the show. Enjoy the drive to Hartford!
Assuming the guys at Boston Sportscar can sort out the electrical gremlins (which have suddenly attacked the 328) in time. We'll be there! They just took the car away on the flatbed, so here's hoping it's something minor and we'll have it for the weekend! Tom
I'll be coming & representing the NY (Empire State Region)...lol. It looks as if we'll have great weather, unlike two years ago. This is a super opportunity to exercise our cars & taking the kids for rides is the best. See you all there.
I'll be there with my 328. It will be very interesting to see how the judges look at the cars. I am really looking forward to the event and hope to meet many of you there. I will be at Azul the night before for the Ferrari dinner. Dave
