The Hartford Concorso is coming up on Sunday, June 18!! It is a great event with a great cause. Last year around 125 Ferraris were in attendance and 40 of them went to the children's hospital to pick up children patients and gave them rides back to the show. It would be great to have some support from Fchat. Would anyone be interested in attending the event? If you would be able to take a day and attend this event it would be greatly appreciated. Whoever was at the event at my friends garage probably got some sort of packet about the show. The Sixth Annual FCA/NER Concorso in Hartford!
    Date: Sunday, June 18, 2006

This is our biggest event of the year, to benefit the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Truly spectacular gourmet food, a parade for children patients, and lots of surprises. There will also be a cocktail party and dinner the evening prior. Dave Friar, Regional Co-Director, at (860) 678-1291 or [email protected].

Many of you have participated in this wonderful event over the past five years, and I hope you will consider joining us again this year.

Concorso Ferrari is one of CCMC’s largest fund raising events and it truly makes a difference in the services they can provide to children from around the region. All of the children, from both CCMC and The Village for Families & Children, look forward to our event each year, riding in the Ferraris and being treated to a lunch on us. If you’ve seen the faces of the CCMC children arriving on the Capitol grounds at the parade’s conclusion, you have seen it for yourself.

We have already received a presenting sponsorship and a number of Platinum sponsorships from area businesses. We ask that you consider making a donation along with your registration for the event to help these great causes.

The tentative schedule for this year’s event is as follows:

    Rain or Shine!

We have made arrangements with the State Capitol and Legislative Office Building so that, if needed, the entire event can be held under protective cover (except for the parade). In the event of rain, cars will be displayed in the legislative parking garage, where the entertainment and food/regalia sales will also take place. Ticket holding exhibitors and sponsors will be able to walk through the underground connector between the Legislative Office and State Capitol to attend the luncheon.
