I spoke to FoH this afternoon. I had put my car in last week for service. Minimal staff on hand but reported the dealership and all cars high and dry

same story. my car was there for a couple things and when i inquired on thursday they had it up on a lift and apparently left it there.

my wife left her car on the 3rd floor galleria parking by her tennis club, and we went to get it today - all ok.
i left my daily at the office last thursday on the 6th floor of the parking garage, and i dont think i am going to take it out for a while, and will just drive my wagon around for a week - there is still a lot of debris on the formerly flooded streets, so i dont need a puncture to add to my worries.

My cousin Jennifer lost 2 cars & had two feet of water in her home, she is safe & so are her pets.

Sorry I don't know what neighborhood she currently lives in.

On Taylor Lake. Had water on three sides of the house and within inches of the pool, but no further. Thank God.

A friend in Clear Lake Shores used his garage lift to save his 328 but lost everything else in his collection; 12 cars at least...

A cousin that lives in Cinco Ranch - Canyon Gate is still underwater of course. At one point the water was over the roof of their Trans Am. Of course they may be buy outs in that neighborhood, at this point her husbands employer has said they're going to help them out.

Well, this is just my venting, so disregard.....things are going downhill, fast, at my apartment.

After the storm they came in and demo'd the garages, as some got three feet of water.
In my case, water levels went from 7" to 5", and the Mercedes in the NEXT garage barely got her rims wet!

The worst one (holding the FIAT Spyder), got about 11" but the car was already UP on blocks!!
    :D :D

Now that they have their insurance money, they are coming in and ripping a clear 4' up ALL walls, in ALL stalls.
I understand, but I am SO screwed. I had already emptied and cleaned and put back my contents.
Now I have to empty all FOUR garages at once, to let them work.
Tear out cabinets, work benches everything.

I really don't have many ideas (a container ,maybe or U haul trailer parked and jammed full), but my back hurts before lifting the first box!
I will call this Hurricane Greystar!!

I am so disgusted I gave my 6 speed Anniversary TransAm away...like as in free!
The only positive part is the FIAT is running around the neighborhood, on the way for paint and new top

Also, as most of the license plates are missing or expired, all these vehicles are subject to immediate towing and impound, once they see daylight!!

Four Ducatis are going to scatter like quail!!

Well, my mechanic took it, to paint the white wheels, and blew the motor.
    It was showing 150K miles.
Not like I "saved " it...

I spent $3K on a new white leather interior, and replacing the top dash pad, they broke the lower half of the dash.
    *sigh*

I worked up the value in Edmunds, and it's worth $1,800.
An LT1 crate motor is about $6K, installed.

A shame, as it is one of 128 made, LT1/6 speed.
I paid a $5K premium, over the MSRP.

    $28,800.00 in 1994.
