Why would anyone with an exotic sports car use products from Home Depo or lowes to customize their rides? You'd think if they can afford a ferrari they could also a afford a decent car wrap if they wanted to go that route. I could be wrong tho but its highly unlikely that someone would wanna wrap up their Ferrari with some Plasti Dip.

That's like asking any Ferrari guys have done a Rattle can paint job yet :D

    It's possible but highly unlikely

Id understand if we were talking about something common like a Camaro, mustang or Civic. but not a car that's gonna cost six figures right out the door.

Proper masking of any surfaces you don't want changed, and a super clean and polished surface to spray, and proper application of the material are the three biggest factors in a successful plastidip that can be removed with zero residual issues.

It's not a material that should be used as a shortcut. It's just another coating method that removes differently than a vinyl wrap.

This stuff is supposed to be a little better as it was designed specifically for this purpose:

    Alsa Corp | Paint Wrap

I haven't tried it but thought about spraying the front clip and track rims with it for rock chip protection. Then again, if I'm going to that trouble it wouldn't be much more work to just re-spray the front bumper and rims every few years...

Holy cow that stuff is expensive. It's 4x the cost of Plastidip. I doubt it is 4x better.

I haven't plastidipped my Ferrari, but did do the wheels of my Audi A4. Looks pretty good, and so far has been durable (about 5 months).

No, that product is a complete piece of ****. The guys over at DipYourCar.com did a comparison, you can tear through it with a fingernail. They even used DipYourCar's photos to advertise their products.

People plastidip lamborghini's, aston martins, ect.

The product is incredible, that is an understatement.
