We all take those little buggers for granted, but what an inconvenience not having it on the 430 as I need to open 3 different garage doors. Wonder if anybody has adapted one, and from which car. Thanks gang.

I haven't seen one on F430. I think most people just use a clicker remote.

If you can find a button to put a switch, you can wire the remote inside the dash. These days, the remotes are very small.

I'd like a factory look, so will have to check units on ebay (including mirrors), and try to find a proper location, which would include access to a switched '+' without splicing anything. Not an easy task; that's why I asked first :). If not, will keep using the remote controls; not the end of the world. Take care.

Let us know how the search goes. I'd be interested in this just to get rid of the remote.

I just have small remotes attached with velcro behind dash fascia below radio. Invisible.
