I want to replace my headers, and was wandering if anyone done it themselves, or know someone how did. My main question is, do I have to move the engine? I do work on cars and have tools. But I just bought my first Ferrari, and want to know if there are thing to look for since I am not familiar with the car.

    Thanks!

The rear header is pretty easy,,you have to loosen the rear engine mounts and jack the rear of the engine up slightly and it just comes out.....the front header on the other hand not such a nice job...It involves removing the right hand gas tank. Also the job is easier if you dont hve all the thermo stuff wrapped around the headers.Superformance in the UK have a set of SSheaders for reasonably cheap

Are you replacing them because they are broken or leak? From what I can see they are a pretty efficient design, unlike most stock headers in production cars.

    Just asking.

They are pretty rusty, and may even have a leak. I will make a though row inspection. I was just ciurriuse if they had to be replaced, what would be the procedure? And I actually did find a great company in UK.
Exhaust $1200, with headers $2400, delivered to your door. High grade 316 SS, highly polished, great craftsmanship.

The 308gt4 is easy enough to replace headers on. No need to remove the engine, just the RH gas tank and maybe the alternator for the front header.
I don't know what the fascination is with shiny mufflers. I am very happy to have an original GT4 muffler, the GTS/GTB ones just don't look proper on the GT4.
My front header is from Superformance.co.uk, and while not polished, it fit properly including the mounts for my exhaust shield.
