    Has anyone fitted a Smart Top remote roof opening/closing module to their F8 Spider?
    Looks great if it works reliably without causing any lights or glitches.

    I've got one in my Portofino M, same generation electronics as an F8. It's nice to have the one-touch operation inside the car. I find that the "click three times precisely 1 second apart" to operate the top from the key fob is basically useless. You have to be so precise with the timing that my success rate getting it to work is less than 50% of attempts.

    What was installation like? Where does it plug into the loom? I quite like the reverse button feature, the OEM operation seems counter intuitive to me, and worse it’s the same direction as lowering the rear screen so if you hit the wrong button by accident you can start a roof opening cycle when you didn’t mean to…
