    i understand it was the color of early ferrari race cars. does anyone have a link to see what it looked like?

    Something a dark red maybe a little like dry blood not to sure but the name means "hard red".

    i think that 360 spider is rosso fiorano. it is a great color.

    i don't know what rosso duro (hard red?) looks like. i was hoping someone here was better informed.

    The listing that I have, although not complete in every respect, shows the early '50s racers being painted "rosso corsa" ... I do not have a color for Ferrari named "rosso duro"?

    duro could be translated as "dim" or "strong" along with sundry other meanings so rosso duro could be a "dim red" (light red) or a "strong red" (bright or deep red) maybe if you were able to tell us where you got the name "rosso duro" we might better be able to track it down.

    a fellow ferrari club member mentioned this color to me but has so far been unable to supply any references.

    I dont think so as far as i know they are Rosso Fiorano.

    rosso fiorano is an amazing color because it changes so much in different light environments.

    it's a shame we don't see more cars in rosso fiorano. it looks great with the tobacco interior.

    Rosso Rubino went out in the mid 80's, part way throught the 328 run...was replaced by a darker red version, 'Prugnia' (sp?), which translates to 'Plum'. :)
