Has anyone joined a Club for track time, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen?

    Anticipating some more spirited driving next season, I'm looking for a club to join in order to get track time in the Bora at Lime Rock, Watkins Glen maybe Pocono.

    I'd be grateful to hear anyone's input on the subject.

    Join the Empire region of the Ferrari club. It's a great group of people and they do all of those tracks during the year.

    That being said, prepare for being interminably slow. I stopped running my Bora at club events over ten years ago and bought something else. It was fun back then but today's cars are so incredibly fast. A late 80's Ford SHO is faster than the Bora.

    But it's about the best group I can think of for you but to be honest it's mostly newer faster cars which IS kind of a shame IMHO. I know that you would be greatly received and most welcomed. So if you just want a chance to exercise your car a bit I say go for it!

    I continue to be thankful for your input Bob,

    Sounds like a good bunch. The Bora and I will be comfortable being the Club's "Tail-end-Charlie" and picking off the occasional straggler. We'll seek the advantage using old-school charm, rather than technology. LOL.
