Front and rear. With OEM wheels. What does it take and what are the consequences/results?

I tried 255/35/20 and 315/30/20. Despite on paper it is only .2 inch taller than OEM tires, it is actually a lot taller with R888R when compared to OEM side by side. Visually it looks like .5 to .75 inches taller.

Tire manufacture spec on overall diameter same nominal size designation can vary in diameter by as much as an inch.

The negative is that it will confuse the traction control even with ESC off. I experienced power what feels like rev limiter kick in at 4800rpm in hard first gear acceleration with R888R in larger size, I put back the cup 2 tires in oem size back and problem went away. Finally weather is getting warmer, so CUP 2 actually does ok when tire temperature can get above 90 degree F.

The pro is that it improve the straightline traction and performance by noticeable amount, the car simply grips like what feels like AWD almost as it has additional 50 to 100hp. F1 trac is already pretty good, but when sensing slip, it still cuts power.
