I read recently that Ferrari had entered into a licensing agreement with Lego, and that the partenership was celebrated with a 1:1 scale replica of the 2004 F1, built entirely out of legos (but with real Bridgestone tires!).

Lego is currently taking orders for a 1:10 scale lego kit that can ship June 23. Has anyone seen a sample of this kit?

Mine was just delivered yesterday. I have a 6yo who loves red cars and I will report when it is assembled, likely over the weekend.

    Hey, Steve,

Was that from LEGO USA? Or from Europe?

I'd love it if mine were delivered soon...

Mine came from Italy along with a couple of shirts I ordered from FerrariWorld. It only took a few days to get here.

I put it together this weekend. I confess it took me 3-4 hours to do; I messed up once or twice and had to redo two parts.

It has 719 pieces, comes in 5 main bags and one small one with just a few pieces. The instructions are usually easy to deal with and logical. Again, twice I had to do something over, but ultimately I think I missed a detail that was present in the directions.

I put it together while watching the kids and actually found it relaxing. It's a nice model, but not rugged enough for the kids to actually play with-more for display. I will likely display it at work.
