    Hello, guys.

Griot's Garage has the following scale model made out of steel and copper. They say that it's made in Germany.

Has anyone seen this anywhere else? I thought I'd look for a better price before buying from Griot's, as they tend to overprice things.

    Thanks in advance!

I have one of these, receiving it as a gift about two years ago. I am in Canada and it was bought on sale locally here. I am certain it was significantly less than Griot's price but it is a very nice item. It is a bit different and stands out in a collection. As long as you understand it is not a replica and is art go for it!

Thank you very much for your reply, Iceman.

How is it different, and how is it art rather than a replica? Is it a little rough?

    Thanks again,

    Matt

Believe me it is not a replica! I would perhaps call it a caricature. That is it is not an exact model of a specific car. It is a stylized formula car. I wouldn't say it is rough but it is made of a variety of metals welded together. It is about 12 or 14 inches long.
Again it is well done but this is art; not a scale model.
