My Mondial QV Cabriolet is doing this,

When the headlight switch is in pos 1, I get no parking lights or license plate lights. turn the
knob and the light pods come up with no lights on.

In pos 2 the low beams come on but the headlight pods don't come up.

In pos 3 the same thing as in pos 2.

I checked relays in the system and they seem to work. If I manually energize "D"
    the headlights come up.

    Idea's anyone?

Sounds like a fuse block gremlin to me.

Not sure if the Mondi's are the same as on the 308? There are metal stripes on the back side of these fuse blocks that are held in place by the same rivets that keep the connecting tabs on. In fact, these rivets are also used to flow electricity from the tabs in the front, then to the cross-connecting metal strip in the back, through another rivet to another tab in the front.

And these rivets tend to corrode. Go figure what happens.

On the GT4, you'd expect to see one main beam working, then switching to large beam and that one main beam killing and 2 large and the OTHER main beam switching on. That's 25+ year old fuse blocks at work for you.

    Replace them. Period.

Or at least take them out and SOLDER the rivets.

(crappy pic of the back side of HALF a fuseblock as I removed it from mine, before putting in some proper ones)

SRInnovations does have a upgraded fuse box for these cars if that is the issue, strongly recommend the product.

Have you check the wiring at the stalk to verify whether or not the switch is supplying voltage where it needs to?

Thanks for giving me a place to start. However the previous
owner of this Mondial spent the big dollars to fix the relay/fuse box.
This relays are in sockets and the fuses are the slotted type.
It seems like its fairly solid but I will start from there. I have not
gotten to the point of actually getting into the stalk but I guess
I will have to bite the bullet.
