I am looking into the possibility of having a car shipped from SF to Denver and I'm looking into shippers. I do have a couple of people that I talked to and depending on where your car is coming from and the timing, maybe we can double up on the transport? Not sure if you're interested but I thought that I would put it out there. You can PM me for more info.
I used them twice to bring 6 F cars to New Orleans and Vegas. No problem at all and you can use my name to get in. They have the rig painted with Peter's Stradale and Mike's 360. Roland F40LM
And of course, I (possibly) will be owning a transporter here shortly that would love to see some cars. I know the LM has been inside it haha
Thanks everyone for the input. I'll be tranpsorting my 430 to Denver from the east coast in November. I've always used Horseless in the past. I've never had a problem with them except they were slow in picking up the car. Sometimes it took them 3 weeks to pick up the car.
If Awhite gets the rig before New Orleans, we will usw him and he will be able to get your out here. N.O is the first week in Nov. He could get your car after that. I could use him for St Louis for Johnny's car and mine and his he he wants to run with us. That rig is just so perfect and new. Roland F40LM
I'm interested in using Awhite. I don't have a specific date in November. My 430 is being built in October and scheduled to arrive on the east coast in November. Does Awhite have adequate/proper insurance on the rig and its contents? I read the "small" print on Horseless' contract and discovered that the truck was insured for $1M but that each individual car was limited to $100K of coverage.
I just talked to Aaron and I looks that he will get that rig. It's a year old and he will check on insurance etc.. Stay tuned Roland F40LM Image Unavailable, Please Login

OK, you got me there, I must have forgot about the Cobra...Of course, they were some P cars too.. This will change now !!! Roland F40LM
Does anyone have western transports phone number ? I have a car to be picked up right now in Houston and I'd like to compare rates and schedules. Steve
Awhite- I'd have to pay storage and WAIT - it's my 1st Ferrari, I want it yesterday ! I already paid for it and have the title so ASAP is what I'm looking for. (they are doing an A/C recharge and oil chg, it will be ready to move Friday) any suggestions? I just heard everyone had good luck with Western so I thought I'd get a bid and find out their schedule. Steve
Jeff- Jerry said their schedule was 2 weeks out right now- but he was checking to see if he could get me in sooner. No price yet. Probably around $1200 for enclosed, that's what most are charging- DAS etc
You can always call Jeff Tunnell at Haulin'assets. He carried many F cars around this country. He has a 2 cars trailer. 303/216-3229 cell 720/810-3663 Johnny and I have used him many times. Roland F40LM
Roland- yes, I already have called Jeff, he said the 16th for an open trailer ($650), near end of the month for enclosed and about $1300+ for enclosed. (ouch) I may give up and fly out there but 90+ temps and 90% humidity and storms in a 308 for most of 1000 miles might be a little rough. Steve
