Maybe this is just my imagination, but did I kind of blink my eyes and see the 36-37 Cord 810/812 models just about double in price? For a long time, I thought this might be a kind of bargain in the world of Duesenbergs and Packards...not unknown to see one in the mid 90K range or a little more.

Now I am reading of 200K cars and up...even the sedans or various derivations are expensive. I actually saw a Glenn Pray reproduction with Corvair engine advertised for upwards of 60K!!!

If so, then another bargain has been missed in the same style as the 60K 246 Dino-

James, It wasn`t just you. I have a `36 Cord in my shop ( that WILL pi$$-off every Cord restorer on the planet ) and can tell you first hand, anything for one has doubled in price in the last 6-8 months. 5k for a front fender is a "good deal". But, at least I won`t be passing off a "collage" as the real thing.( after all it IS about the money) CORDially, Jerry
