    I simply cannot believe this

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250744778359&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

    What next?

Our cars are worth more parted out!

Btw i am in Australia.. a little bit far from the rest of the world.
I converted my QV88.5 yankee to euro and have

    1. Yankee front bar white
    2. Yankee lower front spoiler/airdam white
    3. Rear fibreglass "bumper" white
    4. I made up some rear suspension heim joint and suspension rods using polyeurethane bushes. Work a treat.

    Any one interested PM me.

Freight to USA and Europe may be a little costly. But they're sitting in my garage and i am about to do a clean out.

well....this is a good sample of shill bidding imo

i noticed the biddin went from 500 to 5000 in few hours while (surprinsingly not meeting reserve...;) )

first: this is not an LP400 tool kit: the LP400 kit goes in the spare tyres

it looks like a genuine LP400S bag and tools though (rare item ok, but not worth half that, expecially in such average conditions)
the tools, bulb box looks correct as the jack, i think the glowes are for a diablo though

Price and value are two different things. Value is in the eye of the beholder. If someone wants to ante up $5K, fine. But the reserve certainly is from a different reality than today.

What makes it even more amusing, is that you can still buy both of these items from Lambo-Stuff! Two Pieces together for under $200.00!!!!

    The Shift knob: http://www.lambostuff.com/xq/asp/webcat.yes/prid.952/action.1/qx/product.htm

Yep -- that's what things cost now.

And yep, they are typically worth more parted out.

It's about collectors trying to finish their incomplete cars. Weird, but that's what's going on.

I think I have somewhere the old one I replaced, unfortunately the plastic ring is broken (the one with the engraved "personal") and I reused the gear sign for the new one, I think I should sell it for $999 of course shipment extra :)

    Fred,
yes for a miura complete-as new tool kit ..... and may be for 350-400 GT stuff

but no, for countach tool kits...they are MUCH MUCH cheaper than this
an LP400 may be worth close to this amount... but it is a very different item

Begs the ???? though, why? That kit should have sold all day and every day @ $5k, so can't quite figure out his reasoning for not selling @ $5k. Jeez, how much does he really want for it?

Most i have ever seen a countach kit go for was $2500.00 and that was in the hey day.
