    No one poster on FChat is having any effect on the 355 market. 20 or so Posters on an internet board thinking that their cars are worth mega bucks isn't going to change a market either, and is equally unrealistic. Happens all the time on rennlist 928 section. It's about to become a collectable like a Dino... while ebay prices haven't moved in 2 years. To each their own..

    All this, I paid $x non-sense.... people find what they want and depending on market forces they may or may not get it.Basic economics and while we are talking money, good cars tend to fetch more too.

    I wouldn't give someone a hard time for paying $80-90k for a nice 355, just as I wouldn't expect anyone to think I got a bargain at half that price. Am I worried about the value??? No, but I did want a driver as opposed to a show car... two very different animals. I would have expected to pay much more for a show car, and perhaps even a little less than what I paid for a car I plan to drive often and not worry excessively about.
