Holy Crap!!!- Awesome, although I wish he wasn't doing it on the street. They'll be reading about him crashing and killing somebody on the Ford GT chat site. The car is pretty bad ass though.

Cant figure an adult getting off on street racing. We will see his or the person he kills obit soon. We saw what happens on the drag strip in the vid. That will happen at 180mph when he snaps a driveshaft racing some looney bike.

Also - Why would he feel it needs more power when they mention many times that its already traction limited anyways? Running 10 inch wide Cobra wheels.

A smart group would make an effort to remove some weight and strengthen the driveline first. Then find a way to get the widest wheel-tire package under it as possible....But they will just give it more displacement and boost.

They are all so happy and proud of themselves with a 1000hp car..a fool and his life are soon parted.

Excellent video, instead of the typical clip with lame music and a quick scene of a drag race.

i would figure that if you had a car that fast...fast enough to beat 99% of anything on the street [including motorcycles] then you'd have nothing to prove :/

If you listen, you'd also hear that he says he gets better traction on the street vs. the strip(not justifying his street racing or approving though).

Do you know what the stock driveline is rated to hold? What's to say that they haven't made a drive shaft loop? Oh well, good vid regardless.....

Impressive car when you look at all that Bugatti, Saleen, Ferrari, Lamborgini bring to bear on the task of producing horsepower. That said who knows (not if) when it will blow up, or if something else will break first because all they are really concerned with was making lots of power. Well done video.

I like the guy talking about designing the system with consideration for access and such, we build "race cars . . . ". Har har har. I doubt he has ever been near a racecar; F1, Sports Prototype, Nascar, or even an SCCA production based class. Not a clue about a complete car, but it's "smooooth"! GJ

ps oh, he did say (I think) that he'd like to take it on a road course....
