Congratulations to Renault, Michelin and Alonso for the GREAT season they've performed. They were just THE BEST mix ! This wasn't the Ferrari year, such as any cycle, the wheel has turned and hopefully soon we'll see Ferrari ahead !!
Obviously they didn't, so he wasn't. If ifs and ands were pots and pans... Congrats to Renault and FA, he drove like a true champion. Youngest ever, too.
Yes, congrats to Renault, the best team definitely won the constructors championship. The McLaren was far too brittle.
Congrats to Renault and Alonso! BTW: Alonso equals now the number of victories by Kimi this season. So much for the "real champion should have been"...
Not to mention they seemed to have caught up with McL's blistering pace. Great way to win both championships. It's sour grapes for anyone to think they weren't deserving this year.
I found Alonso's comments during the final press conference very interesting: - He mentioned they had further improvements to the car in the pipeline, but held off. - He also felt sorry for not having gone for more victories in mid season. Not sure whether those might have been sour grapes on his part or whether tactics really commanded him to play it safe until the title was secured. At any rate the Scuderia has its work cut out against the frogs next year.
They do deserve their honours this year but I couldn't help myself thinking about 'ifs' and 'buts'. Well with his blistering pace it will be Kimi's turn one day!
No disrespect to the French teammates, but they owe this one to the Italian! Congrats Flavio...you showed them all..finally! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations to the FIA for changing the rules enough times to negate any development Ferrari had made in the past 5 years. Congratulations to Ferrari for ending up third besides the unfair and bias rule changes!
