No problem, like I said in an earlier post you'd likely see more exotics in the desert than Oklahoma. Having them stored in a garage does nothing for anybody.

Hey- they're out there- I see them in the Brookside area all the time, and I know of at least 6 in a square mile radius of Utica Square (including mine ;-)

The weather's been bad, plus in my case I had my car in the shop for awhile getting a new exhaust and some other odds and ends fixed. Now that I've got it back I'm driving it every chance I get.

I do agree that I'd like to see a lot more of them on the road though- I was also disappointed that none were represented last weekend at the Tulsarama invitational car show-

It's worse in Joplin, MO. I haven't seen one since last August. At least you got to go to Indianapolis. Heard there was a fantastic collection there.

Let me know of anything in the tul area. mine sits in the garage most of the time. BTW, I swear I caught a glimpse of a 250 GTO on south sheridan. I could'nt believe it. Maybe it was a replica or an apparition!
There are quite a few 8's and some 12's around town. Lets set up a meet.
Who do you guy's use for routine work in the area?

I have been told by a reliable source that there is in fact an authentic GTO here in town, but I have never seen it in the flesh- anyone know who it belongs to?

Glad to know I was'nt hallucinating. If memory serves me correctly it is silver and around the 101st & sheridan location. Love to see it up close. My 308 would look like just a toy in comparison.

I think you're correct on the 101st & Sheridan location, that's the car.

There are only 3.5 million people in the whole state. That reduces your odds of seeing rarities. But when I'm in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains, standing in the Illinois river at 7am, fishing, watching the mist rise off the river, with only the sound of the river flowing...yeah, it has it's advantages here.
