    Unfortunately a bolt sheared on the left rear suspension and the car went into the wall at Sebring. Driver side rear and rear end hit hard. Good from the firewall forward. Fuel tank good. Also have some spares, engine, wheels, tires etc. E-mail me with questions and pics.

    sounds like a parts car

    Had an estimate done to repair it?

    I hit a wall in watkins glen and it cost me $75,000-$80,000 to repair

    turn sixteen and it let go at about 120mph on back straight

    Sorry for you bro. Best advice I ever heard was to write off the car each time you leave the pit. If you make it back it is a bonus. If you crash no need for further angst. Racing is magical when everything is together and violent if even a little thing goes wrong. My friend crashed a 430C big when a tyre let go under full throttle at exit.

    BUT very happy to see that you've got a new weapon!

    Let go? It broke traction? I wonder if a wing would have prevented that? I only say that because I heard they can just snap like that but a wing and GT front cures that tendency.

    I did something very similar...crashed ferrari racecar now building Vette T1 racecar. That 360 is a parts car. Salvage what you can and send the rest to the scrap yard. Vettes have so many off the shelf race parts you will never race a ferrari again.
