Hi! I'm planning to install F355 rims (18") on my 1988 1/2 testarossa. I'm wondering if anybody had done it before. I could use some advise if spacers are required and/or longer bolts are needed. Thanks in advance!

    The original rims are 16 x 8 (fronts) and 16 x 10 (rears) the F355 are 18 x 7.5 (f) and 18 x 10 (r). Also a question on tire size for the the F355 can the 18 x 7.5 (f) rims take 225 x 40 x 18 tires? How about the rears what size tires would work best?

    Ray,

We manufacture a special kit for mounting 512TR wheels on the TR and I am pretty sure the offset for the 355 are very close to the 512TR rims. I will check the wheel offsets when I am in the office on Monday and let you know.

    Thanks Paul and Steve!

I'll wait for your next posts. I have time to work on it! If the off set is the same , I guess I wont' be needing any spacers for the fronts. I'll wait to here from you about the back. For the fronts though, the new rims are 7.5" and the 88's are 8". Is this going to affect the alignment in any way or will the wheels look too far in?

To get the 355 wheels back on the same centreline as the TR wheels, you will need 13mm spacers on the front and 18mm spacers on the rear. You will also need the longer bolts to accommodate the spacers.

The above kit is £280.00 + shipping and is in stock.

    Cheers
