The Flu that is going around... If it comes your way DON'T MAKE ANY PLANS.

Was out walking dogs on Friday night and got caught 1.5 miles from home when the inch and a half of rain in an hour hit... Had on my sailing rain gear and still got soaked to the core and chilled.... Could not shake the chill and have been OUT... Achy, bone weary, Fever, cold sweats, hot sweats etc

Spent much of Monday lying on the floor, Lucy kept bringing dog chew toys over to see if they would make me feel better, starting to feel almost human again.

I have not been hit like this in a decade. I also just had an argument with a friend because I honestly thought today was Wednesday... I LOST A DAY.

Take care and try and avoid this one.

I had it earlier this year & it knocked me on my arse, kinda strange for someone like yourself to get ht late in the season but I guess anything is possible.

If you want for me to make a batch of my very potent flu cure, let me know. I'll drop some off at the house.

I would venture a guess that they tasted better than what was goin on in my mouth. Lucy is a dog, after all I guess she is the caring one because the Dude, Carlin was just happy to roll up and sleep on me.

    Sorry to hear that.

Yea the flu, among other things, have been going around the office like crazy. It literally wrapped it's way around our department from one side of the room to the other. My buddy 2 people over got pretty sick, but never missed work. I began to feel bad, but it lasted a day and wasn't much.

Then my roommate missed 3 days off work. I'm very lucky I never got it.

    Get well!

Had a bad one 2 years ago. After purging for over 24 hours I drove myself to the hospital to get rehydrated. I was weak as a baby by then and didn't know what else to do. They put me on I.V's for a few hours to get stuff working again. I'll not forget that weekend for a long time.

Hope you are healthy for a long while after this.

Things have been "tight" but no the dogs still eat better than I do...

BTW long before the recalls, and even back to living in Canada, I have been using Nutro Max "Natural" Unaffected, it is mostly the Wallymart cheap stuff that was recalled, if you red the labels on them prior to the recall you wouldn't have fed it to the dogs...

Although when they said there was melamine (plastic) in the food I do know what that tastes like, thank you Dallas County!
