    I absolutely LOVE the sound of my F8! I’m so surprised but LOVE it… so much better for me that it’s quiet…. Until it’s not. . Don’t like obnoxiously and constantly loud… loved my F430 sound also but I’m really enjoying the cold start up, then the nice ‘quiet’ stealth tone and then the SCREAMING high pitch F1 high tech sound when I get on it. Perfection and it was my biggest reservation.

    The bad news is the body panel fitment and build quality is NOT what I expected or can l accept so I’ll be fixing and adjusting one spot at a time until it’s perfect.

    As more cars are going of the production line I bet there will be more less than perfect fitments over time. Please dont mention BAD paint.

    I consider myself Mr Perfection and the 1.5 year wait of my 488GTB really did have a drain on me as to whether there would be quality issues. To my amazement it was perfect. That is a massive fear.

    I have seen so many cars come in the dealership and can only say boy oh boy :(

    Want quiet and stealth just go to 7th gear.

    I always drive in a selected gear keeping the RPM around 4.0-5.5 so it’s always singing nicely— I’ve never seen 6th or 7th gear as I’d have to be doing 150+ MPH LOL- only when I come to a stop does it become a Camry :)

    ah cool little trivia thanks ... luckily I live in Florida and engine has never taken more than 1-2 minutes to say 'GO'
